Natufia Labs breaking new grounds at Salone del Mobile 2018 – Eurocucina 2018 Milano, Italy

Estonian high end automated indoor hydroponic herbal garden manufacturer Natufia Labs was represented at the Salone del Mobile 2018 / Eurocucina 2018 by Pierre Blime, Director of Sales and Marketing and Oliver Loode, Deputy Director of Sales. The Salone this year welcomed over 300,000 visitors and 1841 exhibitors among whom 117 top kitchen designers at Eurocucina 2018. Oliver Loode comments: “This year was particularly important as the Salone’s focus is kitchen design and the Salone’s thematic was 'Living Nature'. So Natufia Labs fitted right in!”.  Pierre Blime adds: “Indeed, we felt right in place and were able to confirm the increasing interest of key players for the concept of interior kitchen gardens and for the Natufia Kitchen Garden in particular”.  The Natufia Labs Sales Team was also able to gather very valuable  intelligence on potential competition in the market segment to which the Natufia Kitchen Garden belongs (high design and high ROI hydroponic smart systems for interior kitchen gardens).  “That information nicely comforted us” says Oliver.  "The big kitchen design houses are the ones that pretty much decide who will be the leaders in that emerging niche market segment" adds Pierre. He continues: “ If you fail the test with them, there is pretty much nowhere to go... We  were not only happy to make contact and take pre-orders from companies such as Italian kitchen designers Valcucine, Scavolini, Binova, Fendi Cucine, Minotti Cucine, Officine Gullo, Modulnova, Miton with the option in mind to place one of the Natufia Kitchen Garden in their Italian showrooms, but also to potentially open new markets such as Russia (Sicucina), China (FENDI Cucine), Monaco (Gaudio), United Arab Emirates (Gaudio), USA (Aran), and Portugal & Brazil (jdias)”.  In depth discussions with those companies allowed Natufia Labs to better assess its market position and its potential for the year 2018-2019 with a result far above expectations. The team is now working hard to transform those partnerships from committed intentions to reality, with all the technical details and requests for customization that it involves.  “This is all most encouraging for the entire Natufia Labs team; from our engineers and botanists all the way to our investors and our Ambassador Master Chef Simone Zanoni who is also a member of the product development team”  concludes Natufia Labs CEO Gregory Lu.
